Archant

Exmouth Town roared back to the top of the South West Peninsula League Premier Division when they won at St Blazey and learned of a stunning 5-0 defeat for the morning leaders Ivybridge!

The Bridgers were hammered at home by Witheridge leaving Town to go three points at the top with seven games to play this season.

Parkway sit third, some five points shy of Town but with three games in hand. However, the two sides meet in the final week of the season so as long as Town keep winning that game with the Plymouth side could determine who wins the top prize this season.

Make sure of your copy of the Exmouth Journal out next on Thursday April, 17.
