Exmouth Town and Budleigh Salterton well placed as season heads for busy festive month.

Both Exmouth Town and Budleigh Salterton remain in the top four of the SWP league Eastern Division.

Town are better placed than anyone with 23 points from nine matches so far and just four points dropped in what has been an undefeated campaign so far.

The Robins were top before their last game, but Greenway lane defeat to University saw them lose top spot to Stoke Gabriel.

Both Town and Budleigh have busy December’s ahead.

Next up for the pair are this weekend’s matches which see Town again miss out on league action as they are it he Graddon Vending Devon Premier Cup looking to see off Newton Abbot Spurs in their Southern Road meeting.

For the Robins it’s more league duty with a Greenway Lane meeting with Alphington.
