Archant

Exmouth Town brushed aside what was considered to be one of their more difficult away games in the season as they hit hosts Teignmouth Town for six!

The victory, an 11th in 13 Eastern Division games opens up a three point lead at the top of the table.

Town have now banked 35 out of a possible 39 points this season and are currently averaging three goals scored per game whilst they have shipped just a dozen goals in their 13 games to date.

The result also extends the Town unbeaten league run to 13 games this season.

With two games to play (they entertain bottom of the table Crediton United next Saturday before travelling to Sidmouth Town on February 2), to complete half their league programme all is in order at Southern Road for Town to go on and claim a promotion place into the Premier Division next season.
