Archant

Sidbury 5, East Budleigh 0

East Budleigh will want to quickly put the second half of this fixture behind them after conceding all five goals in that period, writes Mark Auton

In the first half Budleigh did okay; Jack Howarth was denied twice in one-on-one situations whilst Tim Whiteoak hit the bar.

An early goal for the home side after the re-start began Budleigh’s collapse into what was a very poor second half.

Three further strikes and a converted penalty completed the rout.

East Budleigh will need to up their game this Saturday when they entertain the students from Exeter University (2.15pm)

The Reserves who had no game last week as opponents Amory were cup-tied, return to action looking for all three points from a visit to Dawlish United (2.15pm).
