Archant

Brixington United Under-10s got back to winning ways with a 3-0 win over Lympstone Lympets.

The first half was evenly contested with both teams going close to scoring but the respective goal keepers held sway and ensured, with a series of fine saves, that it was a game with a goal at half-time.

United made two changes at half time and the switched paid maximum dividends as both substitutes found the net!

First Ryan Daffin scored direct from a corner and then Joe Graham was put through and he held his composure to tuck the ball beyond the advancing Lympstone goal keeper.

Joseph Vincent then scored Brixington’s third, his shot slicing through a packed area to Rory Craib who’s clever dummy bamboozled the Lympet’s keeper!

Credit must also go to George Gelling and Jayden Gore who put in an excellent defensive performance.
