Archant

Brixington United Under-10s continued their unbeaten run with victories over Colyton sides, writes Mike Graham.

Their first game paired them with Colyton Redsocks who led at the break courtesy of a deflected goal.

In the second half Brixington bombarded the Colyton goal and got the equaliser their industry warranted when Ryan Daffin marked his Blues debut with a goal.

Thereafter there were no further goals as honours ended even. George Gelling put in the Man of the Match performance with some great saving tackles.

The second match saw Colyton Raiders provide the opposition. Jack Ottaway opened the scoring for Blues. Raiders drew level just before half-time.

After the break Blues found a new gear and went ahead with a well worked goal scored by Tom Real.

A penalty fired Raiders level for the second time, but Ryan Daffin quickly restored the Blues lead.

Further goals from Tom Real, George Gelling and another for Ryan Daffin ensured the Blues ran out 6-3 winners.
