Budleigh Salterton Under-16s end season on a high

Budleigh Salterton Under-16s finished their Exeter and District Youth League U16 Division Two campaign off in style, writes SpursTom.

A win in their final game left the young Robins in a very respectable third spot in the table.

It was a fitting way to end their reign as the Robins youth representatives, as there will be no Under-17s or Under-18s next season.

Many of the players have been wearing the club’s colours for the past five years, but though some may advance and step up into the reserves, for others it’s the end of an era.

The club is holding its presentation night this Saturday (May 24), when all four teams will be honoured.
