Colaton Raleigh action

Colaton Raleigh action

Archant

The first Saturday of October sees the footballing spotlight fall on the County Cup competitions and there’s action a plenty for local sides. In the Graddon Vending Devon Premier Cup Exmouth Town travel to North Devon to face Chittlehampton.

The Southern Road side travel tin high spirits after a midweek home win over Okehampton that made it ten without defeat for Richard Pears’ side.

There’s real strength in depth at Town right now, a fact underlined with the likes of Dan Boere and Chris Duchenski amongst the substitutes for that midweek league victory!

There’s Graddon Vending cup football also for Budleigh and they have home advantage for a meeting with Perry Street league side Chard United.

Completing our local trio of sides competing in the Graddon Vending competition are Exmouth Amateurs who are at their Warrenview home entertaining Plymouth side Shakespeare.

The County Cup ties all have 2pm kick-offs.

East Budleigh have home advantage for a Firewatch Devon Senior Cup tie with Alphington Reserves the visitors. In the same competition Colaton Raleigh hosts Beacon Knights.

Woodbury are another side in Firewatch Cup action, they travel to South Devon to meet Kingsteignton.
