Ammies Under-12s draw at Feniton

Feniton 1, Exmouth Amateurs 1

Ammies Under-12s were good value for a share of the spoils in a well contested local derby.

Despite all the recent rain the Acland Park surface was in good condition and both sides made determined starts.

It was the home side that struck first when they found the back of the Ammies net with their first raid!

That one goal still separated the teams at half-time.

After the break Ammies took charge and, but for some find defending and a large measure of good luck the home goal remained un-breached until five minutes to go

when Sam Wheeler headed home from close range.

Ammies went in search of a winner and both Lewis Cockayne and Oscar Moyle saw shots cannon back off the frame of the goal.

Ammies can consider themselves unlucky not to have banked all three points.
