The two sides went into the game sitting in the top two positions in the Exeter and District Under-12 Division Three table, but by full-time United had maintained their perfect season long record to open up an eight point lead at the top.

Adam Wilkinson led the scoring honours with four goals and Will Dean bagged a brace.

The other United scorers were Sam Balbi and Jack May.

Reserve keeper Sam Appleby was given the opportunity to play outfield and did a great job in the United forward line.
