Exmouth Town set for cash match in late February

Exmouth Town have the chance to win much welcome cash as well as a place in the last four of a cup at the end of next month at their Southern Road home.

Town have been drawn at home to Stoke Gabriel in the last eight of the Throgmorton Cup.

There’s £300 on offer for the Eastern Division side who goes furthest in the competition and, with both Town and the South Devon side the last remaining Eastern Division sides in the competition, the winners will take the cash. In addition there’s £300 on offer to the beaten semi-finalists of the competition.

So victory in the Tuesday, February 27 (7.30pm) tie will guarantee the winners £600.

Should Town make the final of the competition which is the League Cup for the South West peninsula league, there would, be a further cash pot available with the beaten finalists landing a cheque for £800 and the winners £1500.00.
