Exmouth Town head for Upton Athletic on Saturday looking to book a last four berth in this season’s Graddon Vending Devon Premier Cup.
Upton Athletic play in the South Devon League and currently sit fifth in the 1st Division having won seven and lost five of their twelve games played to date.
They are ten points adrift of leaders Kingskerswell and Chelston, one of three teams to win at Upton’s home ground this season.
The South Devon side play on the ground used in the summer by Barton Cricket Club and this season they have also lost home games to Brixham Villa (2-1) and Watts, Blake and Bearne (3-1).
To reach the last eight of the Graddon Vending Cup, Upton Athletic began their bid with a 2nd Round 5-4 home win over Shebbear and then they were again at home, beating Teignmouth Town 3-1. In the last round they won 2-1 at Exeter Civil Service after extra-time.
Town’s route to the last eight has seen them beat Totnes and Dartington 1-0, then see off Sidmouth Town 3-2 before, in the last round, they beat Crediton United 4-1 at Southern Road.
