Exmouth Town were given the draw they would probably have asked for had they been able to select one in Friday night’s Throgmorton Cup quarter final draw.
Richard Pears high-flying side were given a home tie against the winners of the Camelford versus Stoke Gabriel match that takes place this weekend.
Camelford are a Premier Division side, having been promoted last season out of the Eastern Division whilst Stoke Gabriel are a side who Town know very well having met them back on September 29 in South Devon when Town won by the odd goal in seven!
The full draw, made at half-time in the SWP League Premier league game at Newquay on Friday is: Tavistock v Helston; Exmouth v Camelford or Stoke Gabriel; Newquay v Elburton and Torpoint Athletic of Bodmin Town versus Saltash United.
Be sure to get your copy of the Exmouth Journal (out next on Thursday, January 10) to read Town boss Richard Pears’ view on both the cup draw and his sides game at Totnes and Dartington this weekend.
