Town are enjoying a marvellous season in the top flight and are yet to taste defeat in a league game before their own followers. They have won seven and drawn two of their nine Southern Road games so far and have conceded just four goals.

Ironically Plymouth Parkway sport a similar defensive record away having conceded just four goals in six away matches of far with all six having been won!

Parkway have kept clean sheets in wins at Bovey, Camelford, Liskeard and Newquay and also won 5-2 at Falmouth and 4-2 at St Austell.

Town have kept clean sheets in all but three of their home games.

Boss Richard Pears says: “It’s precisely this sort of game I want the Southern Road faithful to get used to. There should, be no need for me to have to motivate anybody for this one. It’s clash between two very good sides and I am sure the contest will not let us down.”

Kick-off at Southern Road on Saturday is 3pm.
