Richard Pears’ men travel to South Devon unbeaten so far this term in the league campaign and eleven points clear of the field.

Pears is expecting his side to face a tough task, despite the fact that Galmpton were beaten 7-1 at Southern Road as recently as last month.

He says: “The fact we beat them so heavily at our place probably makes this game on Saturday a little tougher than it might have been for they (Galmpton) will be charged up and determined on two fronts. They’ll be looking to get some sort of revenge for the 7-1 and, I have no doubt that they will have, as all sides do we face right now, an extra stride in their step in a bid to become the first team to carry the tag of being first to topple Town!”

Pears went on: “We are fortunate enough to have a near full-strength squad available for the game. That does mean there will be one or two players who will undoubtedly be disappointed not to make the starting eleven. However, as I have said many time this term, the run-in is not about the 11 who start each game, it’s about the wider squad for every one of the lads is going to have a part to play in the last two months of the action – especially if we are to go on and make this currently special season a truly memorable one.”
