Exmouth Sea Angling Association continue to have events hit by the elements.

Exmouth Sea Angling Association continue to have their events hit by the weather, writes Bob Pennells.

With sea conditions too dangerous to go near the club switched its latest event fro the Budleigh sea shore to the rivers Exe fishing from the Exmouth Docks through and up to Topsham.

The wind proved to be a distraction, but it was still, a lot safer than being exposed to the elements off the beach!

Hopes were not high across another good entry of anglers so at the weigh-in there was great delight at what was landed.

First place went to Dave Fuller who landed a brace of flounders and a decent bass. That was enough to edge Brian ‘The Viking’ Reed into second place with his catch being a pair of flounders and third place, with a silver eel was taken by Mike Richardson.

Thanks are due to all that braved the elements to turn out to support the club even ton yet another terrible night in terms of the weather.

Surely the weather will improve soon – wont it?
