The Exmouth Ladies' cricket team who played in their home tournament

The Exmouth Ladies’ stage a Tournament designed to give the young and ‘young at heart’ some cricket fun.
The 2012 event saw eight teams take part.
Each side got to play at least three matches during the day long competition.
Every player is encouraged to take part and it is often the case that in these matches a player will strike their first ever four or even smash a six!
Girls’ and Ladies’ who have never bowled in a match before have a chance to take their first wicket.
Exmouth’s Anita Bolt says: “It’s a fantastic fun way to end the season encouraging more girls and Ladies to play this wonderful game of cricket.
This years Trophy winners were Hatherleigh whilst Sandford won the Plate competition. Jim Wood, president of Exmouth Cricket club presented the awards to the captains of the winning teams.
