Bank 8, Cornerstone 3
Bank were good value for an emphatic Knock Out Cup triumph at the Woodbury Archery Club pitches.
What made the success all the more impressive was that then opposition ply their trade a division higher in the Exeter Sunday league.
Bank have begun the season well and top then fledgling Division Three table. They went into the cup tie boosted by a 6-0 win the week before.

The opening goal owed much to the excellent strike partnership of Adam Pring and Warren Vaughn with the latter being set up by the former to open the scoring.
Pring then made it two after good left wing work from Phil Sanders. A penalty then hauled Cornerstone back into the contest, but the two goal margin was swiftly restored when Jamie Drummond rifled one in from 25-yards.
Vaughn then bagged his second from close range to see bank into a 4-1 half-time lead.
In the second half Pring bagged his second from six-yards before the visitors netted their second. In then 66th minute Drummond provided the cross that was turned home by a defender to make it 6-2.
Bank keeper Graham Lewis then tucked away a penalty to increase his sides lead.
Cornerstone then scored a third, but the final words was from Bank with Will Ficken netting to compete the scoring.
Bank’s Tom Elliott was named Man of the Match.
This Sunday Bank United travel to the Warrenview pitches to play Country House in a league game.
