Exmouth Moto X ace Reegan West has been busy keeping his sponsors, The Country House Inn, Withycombe, happy.
The youngster has managed to stay at the top of the leader board even though he had a big collision over one of the jumps at the difficult Crediton track the weekend before last and hurt his left arm and knee!
West was going for an overtaking manoeuvre in the air over a big table top jump to take the lead from his close friend and rival Tim Moran, but they clashed bars in mid flight and West took a tumble, hitting the ground hard!
In true Moto X style the youngster put the fall swiftly behind him and finished the day in second place!
The same thing happened the next time the pair of great friends met at the Little Hempston track near Totnes last weekend, but this time it was Moran who came off worse, suffering a dislocated shoulder in the first race of the day!
With just three meetings left in the season West holds a 35-point lead over Moran and that means the top honour of South West Champion remains up for grabs!
