Exmouth travel to Instow on the third Saturday of July looking to net a victory that may well see them sit top of the table at stumps.
There was no action for any of the three Exmouth senior sides on another soggy July Saturday.
However the inactivity for Richard Baggs and a surprise defeat for table topping Bovey Tracey at the hands of Plymouth, mean that Exmouth are now just three points short of sitting top of the table themselves!
This weekend marks the two thirds point of the league season and Exmouth travel to North Devon side that they beat by 103 runs at The Maer in May thanks mainly to a David Lye century.
On Saturday the Exmouth 2nd XI, who need points to edge themselves clear of the relegation zone, entertain North Devon II.
The Third XI, who have sat out four of the last five Saturday’s owing to inclement weather, entertain Upottery II.
