The Jurassic Coast 10km, from which all profits are donated to the FORCE cancer charity, was run out of Budleigh, writes Dave Eveleigh.
Being a local lad Marc Cox from Exmouth Harriers was there and he was frustratingly less than 30 seconds behind a land-mark win, completing the scenic, but tough enough multi-terrain route in 36:58 for second place.
There were about 200 finishers of which around 80 were female.
That suggests that the two further Harriers running, both finishing in the top 100 did pretty well.
Jane Macdonald was 66th in 49:35 and Amanda McCann 98th in 53:55.
