Exmouth Harriers Hugh Marsden and Dawn Teed went to Dartmouth the day before for the long established Dartmouth Regatta Road Race, writes Dave Eveleigh.
Exmouth Harriers runner Hugh MarsdenNominally this is five miles long, but the race begins with an extremely steep climb out of the town, so that fast times would not be expected.
Teed finished 79th overall and fifth in a competitive V45 section.
Marsden was ninth overall in 33:09 and second V50 man.
