The celebrating Exmouth Darts team after an eighth successive Inter league Cup win

Exmouth’s dart players have underlined their status as the finest in East Devon.

For the eighth successive year and the 16th time in all the Exmouth darts team have landed the Inter-League cup.

The team, skipper by Paul Milford, comprised also of Mike Evens, Tom Cordy, Alan England, Steve Kingdom, Aiden Mann, Ian Baker and Jason Smith.

In round-robin matches, they beat Honiton, Axminster and Seaton with reach success being to an emphatic score line of 8-1.

The round-robin triumphs saw them safely through to the final where they came up against Sidmouth.

A close encounter ensued with the outcome in the balance right up to the final game which Exmouth won to land the tile 5-4.

To complete another successful competition, Mike Evens won the men’s single’s title.
