Exmouth Cricket Club is holding a charity auction in association with Hospiscare (Exmouth and Lympstone) at the Club on Saturday, August 3, starting at 7pm.
The Club has been very fortunate to have Scott Gray from BBC’s ‘Homes under the Hammer’ as the auctioneer for the evening with food provided by the Spice Lounge.
A massive range of gifts has been donated by many Exmouth businesses and from further afield.
Perhaps the star attractions are a pair of Ashes tickets for the third day of the Oval Test or a hospitality day out at Lords with seats in the Pavilion.
Many other gifts include family days out, a day of golf at Woodbury Park or a cruising day on the Solent.
There are of course many other attractions including those associated with cricket, a pamper hamper, restaurant meals, sailing lessons and wines and spirits and many more.
Club chairman, Richard Butler says: I am so grateful to all the businesses and members who have contributed to the donations. Hopefully both Hospiscare and the club will benefit from this. A full list of donations will be available on the night and we want to publish a list of all those who have helped.”
There are still a few tickets available and the chairman can be contacted on 01395 263196 or firstname.lastname@example.org or from the T-Hut at the Maer ground or the club house.
