Exmouth just failed to progress to the semi-finals of the Devon Inter-League Snooker when they were beaten by Exeter C by three frames to two.

Carl Rowsell 55-43 and Mark Rock 64-24 took them to the brink of victory before Iain Callander was overtaken by Paul Ford’s black-ball finish 47-39. Dion Newcombe made a gallant effort to obtain the snookers required to win the decider, but, Andy Richardson held out to win 64-19.
