Exmouth Sea Angling Association held their annual Mullet Hunt event on the River Otter, writes Bob Pennells.

It did not turn out to be the most memorable of Mulet Hunts with a grand total of eight caught.

There were also a brace of silver eels and a small flounder, the latter caught by the club’s resident flounder angler Shaune Browning.

At the end of the event Brian ‘the Viking’ Reed was acclaimed as the winner.

Mike Richardson was second and Andy Browning took third spot.
