The July Wednesday Night League meeting for the Exmouth Sea Angling Association was held neap high at Jacobs Ladder with a good turn out of competitive fishermen, writes Bob Pennells.

The fishing seemed to be very slow except for Paul Rowe’s rod with the best of the year smoothound and later caught two smaller smoothounds and a eel.

Not much else was caught by the rest of the competitors.

In first place was Paul Rowe with Dave Thoburn taking second place.

Third place was shared between Ken Williams and Shane Milliner.
