Exmouth-based Sunday League side Exiles made a superb start to their new season with a 9-1 Jim Howard Cup triumph at Flying Horse (Exeter).
It followed on from their opening day 4-2 win over Black Horse in a league game and means that then Exiles have certainly hit then ground running this new season!
Flying Horse are, like Exiles, a Division Three outfit. At half-time the Exiles held a 3-1 lead with the home sides goal courtesy of an own goal!
After the break it was one-way traffic with six unanswered goals netted!
Gareth Davies and Ian Boyd both bagged hat-tricks whilst Justyn Coates hit two and there was a goal also for Marty Robertson.
Next up for the Exiles is a meeting with Starcross Royals in the Devon County Sunday Cup.
