The event will be held in a Grand Marquee in the Fountain Centre at St James Park on Sunday, April 28.

Paramount Personnel are the event’s main sponsors. The Ball takes place the day after the Grecians’ final scheduled league fixture of the season, and will hopefully act as a celebration of the success of the 2012/13 campaign – perhaps with play-offs still in the pipeline, or maybe even automatic promotion to League 1 already sealed!

After the success of last year’s event, this year’s Ball is expected to be bigger and better with the theme being “Glitz & Glamour”.

Local company Stage Engage will be supplying the lighting and staging, which will add an extra dimension to the event and help to put the spotlight (quite literally) on those that have helped contribute towards the successes this season.

Tables of up to 10 guests are available, with entrance at a price of just £49 per person. Devon-based Loose Cannons – a 13-piece multi-genre band, with several awards under their belt – will be on hand to provide the entertainment.

Exeter City captain Danny Coles said: “This year’s Spring Ball is going to be a night to remember regardless of results on the pitch –and with a very exciting end to the season expected, it will hopefully be a celebration party. The players will be there in force to support the club and I hope lots of fans will be there to join us.”

Donna Greening, Conferencing & Events Manager at Exeter City, said: “After the success of last season’s event, the commercial team are really excited about hosting the Ball again this year. We are delighted to have the backing of the players, and hopefully our fans and sponsors will turn up in their numbers again. We’re aiming to have 400 people in attendance this year, so book now to avoid disappointment! And we’re delighted to have the Loose Cannons at our event providing some wonderful entertainment.”

Dean Croft, MD of Paramount Personnel, said: “I’m delighted to be supporting the club again with another high profile event, and would like to thank Exeter City for all the hard work they are doing off the pitch to arrange such events for the fans. Of course I will be hoping that the night may have the added spice of play-offs, or maybe more! Whatever the results between now, and then I know it will be a great night.”

Fans and sponsors are urged to book tickets as soon as possible, as over 150 tickets for the event have been sold already.
