Exe win well at Okehampton with doubles from Jones and Karakusevic

08:59 27 March 2014

Okehampton 2, Exe 4

Exe claimed the points from their latest Petroc 2 outing.

The game started off at a high tempo with Exe playing some of their best hockey of the entire season!

The passing and movement was very slick and it was no surprise when it led to them opening the scoring with a goal from Evie Jones.

The accurate passing continued and Carly Karakusevic doubled the lead.

The Exe confident play continued in the second half and a superb pass from Helen Warren released Jones to net her second of the game.

Okehampton pulled a goal back before a bully following a hail storm break saw Exe return to their earlier game and they added a late fourth with Karakusevic scoring her second of the contest.
