Exe II 0, Bristol Uni 6

An inexperienced Exe II side showed great spirit in defeat against the league champions.

An outstanding defensive display from the team and particularly player of the match goalkeeper Becca Rushworth prevented Bristol University from pulling too far ahead in the first half.

After the break Becky Morris, Kerry Thorne and Heather Edworthy linked up well and caused the home team some problems, whilst Fi Moran and Jenny Bowker ran tirelessly in the midfield.

Unfortunately Exe II could not make the opportunities count, but should be proud of their performance.
