Exmouth Sea Fishing Association

Exmouth Sea Fishing Association

Exmouth Sea Angling Association staged the annual Exe Cup event, writes Bob Pennell.

Sadly the weather was a key player in the fact that fewer than expected took part.

The brave members who braved the stormy conditions collectively only landed a few fish.

It was a case of dog fish, eels and wrasse making up the catch at the weigh-in.

There was a tie for first place with Dave Fuller and Mike ‘the Crab’ Richardson sharing top spot, both with scores of 135 per cent.

Shauna Browning took second place with an eel of 2.2lb and Andy Browning took third place.
