Evens set new best finish with a 160 in the latest Exmouth and District Darts league matches

Hollytree A darts ace Mike Evens set a new seasons best in the Exmouth and District Darts League last week, writes Mark Waldron.

Evens, otherwise known as ‘Evo’ struck a superb 160 shot out to secure the best finish to date this term.

His finish completed an impressive 12-dart leg in a 501 singles match.

In other dart’s news, as the season draws to a close the cup competition have reached the semi-final stage.

In the men’s section the Can Doo Challenge Cup semi-finals are to be played at the Country House on Monday, February 24.

The pairings are Some Key Ants versus Maltsters, and Fec N Lers taking on double chasing Hollytree A’

The men’s KO Shield last four sees Rascals face Kings Arms A and The Arms take on Woo Hoos in matches to be played at the Hollytree also on February 24.

The ladies Rosebowl semi-finals are being played on Wednesday, February 26.

The Country House A take on Chuckettes on the oche at The Bank whilst The Phoenix FX meet the Hustlers on the back board at The Country House.

On the same night The Vera Hall Cup semi-finals see The Hollybirds take on Country House B playing at Number 9 whilst at the Country House, on the front board, The Beach are set to face Feathers.
