Fox-Pitt supports Badminton Horse Trial charity

William Fox-Pitt joins a line-up of distinguished equestrian riders showing support for Alzheimer’s Research UK, charity of the year for the 2013 Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials. Three times world number one and nine times British number one, William has his sights on the Rolex Grand Slam at Badminton this year.

Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading charity specialising in finding preventions, better forms of diagnosis, new treatments and a cure for Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. The charity relies entirely on public donations to fund its pioneering work at leading universities nationwide.

William explained his motivation for endorsing Alzheimer’s Research UK’s involvement in the 2013 Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials:

“Badminton is one of the world’s most prestigious equestrian events. Each year it provides a wonderful platform for its nominated charity to raise money and awareness. Alzheimer’s Research UK is a hugely deserving cause, dedicated to defeating dementia and giving hope to people now and future generations. I hope as many people as possible will join me in supporting the research experts to help raise much needed funds.”
