East Devon senior section gives great support to two charities

The Annual Seniors’ Dinner was held at the East Devon Golf Club last Wednesday.

Seventy-six seniors and their guests attended the dinner which was hosted by Robin Grenyer, the seniors captain.

He was joined by club captain Clive Bennett, Barry Collacott from the MS Society and Peter Payne representing FORCE, the Exeter based cancer charity.

Barry and Peter gave speeches explaining the valuable work done by their respective charities and thanked the members for their generous contributions.

A prize draw raised £828 which was split equally between the two charities.

The prizes were all donated by the members of the club and Robin Grenyer thanked all those who had so kindly donated items for the draw.
