Eilidh Cameron claimed top spot in a closely fought July England Golf Medal competition at East Devon Golf Club last week, writes Helen Chivers.
Cameron recorded an impressive four under par nett 70 to head the field of 64 ladies.
Cameron claimed top spot in Silver Division by just one shot from Margaret Christie, who recorded a three under par nett 71.
Linda Knapton continued her good run of form to take third place with a nett 72 while Sue Owen-Pawson was fourth with a nett 73 and Hilary Shiels took fifth with a level par nett 74.
Annie Dent came top of Bronze Division by three clear shots with a one under par nett 73. Shirley Pressey was second on count back from Maria Heard and Ladies Captain Elaine Whitehead as all three recorded nett 76. Barbara Middleditch was fifth with a nett 78.
Pat Morley was crowned this years Dolphin Trophy winner in a nine-hole restricted ladies competition. Morley scored an excellent two under par 20 points.
