East Devon ladies - Dobel a clear winner

Jenny Dobel was the clear winner of the ladies March stableford at East Devon Golf club last week, writes Helen Chivers.

Dobel beat the field of 73 ladies by three clear points, carding a three under par 38 points.

Dobel was also top of Bronze division, ahead of the in form Sally Shakleton who scored a par 36 points.

Maria Heard claimed third place on countback from Diana Brittain, both recording 34 points.

Silver division was won by Hilary Shiels with 35 points. Carole Brailey claimed second spot with 33 points ahead of Judy Murray in third on 32 points.
