Round two of Exe Table Tennis clubs Junior League came to an end last week with some thrilling games deciding the final division placings.
Division threes’ runner-up, Jake Butt, played consistently well only conceding one match, but was out played by newcomer Bradley Winteridge who won all his matches and only conceded one game.
Division two was dominated by Chris Wardle who won all his matches with runner-up Andrew Rock. Newcomer Rock has now gained two promotions and next round will play against seasoned players in the first division.
Last rounds division one winner, Aaron Sansom, had a slow start losing his first two matches, but won the final three matches to secure joint runner-up placing with Matthew Wellington.
Both players won three out of their five matches and conceded the same amount of games.
The division was dominated by one of Exe TT’s best junior players Wojciech Cyron who’s consistently good play saw him win all five of his matches, only conceding one game.
Due to the popularity of the league, the club will now run a forth division for the keen youngsters from Exmouth.
