Last Sunday Jon and Lorraine Croome completed the Dalwood Three Hills Challenge, an off-road race of approximately 10 miles between Axminster and Honiton.

For racing, this seems to be their terrain of choice. Jon was 12th overall and second man age 45-49 in 75:51 whilst Lorraine was second woman aged 45-49 in 83:58.

The race was finished by 80 men and 71 women.

Meanwhile down in Cornwall Mike Musgrove was third overall and first man aged 45-49 in 85:39 at the Cornwall Council Half Marathon. No doubt many of the club’s members would though have been clocking up the training miles needed to complete the famous Grizzly race, early next month.
