Woodbury Cricket Club are celebrating yet more success in the AEG grassroots competition.

The Woods had earlier won a new washing machine and a full set of kit for one of the colt’s teams.

Now they have been told they are one of the top two entrants in the video diary element of the competition and their reward for that is a coaching session at the Town Lane ground with cricket legend Paul Nixon.

The Woods were introduced to the competition through the column inches of the Exmouth Journal sports pages.

Martin Cook says: “It has proved to be a most worthwhile exercise and now we can look forward to a master class for the colts with Paul Nixon.”
