Archant

Topsham St James Under-14s went down by six wickets at Kenn.

Kenn coped better on an erratic wicket, with several of the Saint’s batsmen left deceived by the bounce, or lack of it!

Only Tom Sage and Inder Singh made double figures and a total of 57 was never going to be enough.

Jim Shepherd did his best - his four overs yielding only 10 runs and included a wicket maiden!

Ryan Darke and Sam Thomas also took a wicket apiece in their single overs, but the damage was done and their chance to make a difference came too late as Kenn reached their target with more than seven overs to spare.
