Exmouth Rugby Club joint top of fledgling Budleigh CC Community Cricket League table

The popular Budleigh Cricket Club Community League season is underway once again, writes Kevin Tyrell.

This year there are eight team taking part. Seven of them are stalwarts of previous campaigns whilst the new addition this season is a team from Exmouth Rugby Club.

The ‘new kids on the block’ got off to the perfect start winning their opening two games against first the Gentlemen and then the Feathers.

Top of the fledgling table are reigning champions Doctors and the new boys, Exmouth Rugby Club.

The action resumes on Bank Holiday Monday (May 256) at the Ottermouth with a triple header beginning at 10.30am when Exmouth Rugby play the Withy Dads, followed by Taverners v Robins (1.30pm) and Feathers v Doctors (4.30pm).
