Clyst St George went down for the fourth time in five D Division outings when beaten by seven wickets at Feniton.

Batting first the Bohea Field men posted a healthy 215-7 with Sam Cooper leading the way with a century and there were more runs for the in-form Chris Ferro who had his innings cut short when on 38.

The home side lost just three wickets on their successful run chase with father-and-son combination Brian and Josh Cann making 84 ands 64 not out respectively.

Clyst St George sit joint second bottom of the table with Feniton – both sides have 55 points, ten more than basement dwellers Honiton.

The side sitting fourth bottom, Uplyme, are on 68 points.

This Saturday Clyst travel to Uplyme where a win will significantly close the gap, but defeat would widen it further!
