Archant

The Budleigh Cricket Club Community League cricket season is now past the halfway stage and it’s Exmouth Rugby that wear the ‘yellow jersey’, with a perfect record of victory in their first four games, writes Kevin Tyrell.

Rain stopped play at the weekend, resulting in the eagerly awaited clash between the Doctors and the Robins being washed away and the points shared.

The action resumes at the Ottermouth on July 27 with the ‘wooden spoon’ game between the Gentlemen and The Taverners getting things underway at 10.30am.

The second game of the day sees Withy Dads take on Doctors at 1.30pm and the day is rounded off with the final match starting at 4.30pm between Exmouth Rugby and the Robins.
