Budleigh have been dealt a blow on the playing front with the news that former skipper Sandy Allen will not be playing at Ottermouth again next summer.

What’s more he is not going to going to far for Budleigh to play his cricket in 2013!

Allen missed all last season owing to work commitments but is going to be available to play club cricket again in 2013 and has decided to play at Exmouth.

Budleigh secretary Kevin Curran says: “There were talks between Sandy and the club with a view to him returning next season, but he has subsequently advised us that he has received an offer from Exmouth CC that he could not refuse. Of course we are sorry to see him depart, but life does go on and we all wish him well at his new club.”
