Cougars were 65-24 winners when they met Comets in an Exmouth Netball League match, writes Lucy Burch.

Comets got off to a flying start and, by the end of the first quarter, led by 16 goals to five.

For the second quarter, Cougars changed some positions, and while switches did not see an increase in goals being scored, renewed energy, determination and enthusiasm served to keep Comets on their toes.

By the end of the third quarter Cougars had extended their advantage to lead 46-17.

The final quarter saw the most goals scored in any of the four periods as Cougars closed out an emphatic success.

The respective Player of the Match awards went to Lucy Harris for Cougars and Yvonne Sparkes for Comets.
