There was frustration for the Cockles last weekend when their National Three (SW) game was called off.
However, it was not cancelled because of weather problems in Exmouth where the Imperial ground was ready and waiting for action!
The problem was further up country with scheduled visitors Redingensians choosing not to risk travelling from a snow-bound Berkshire to Exmouth.
It is hoped that the game will now be played on Saturday, February 2, which had originally been set aside for the Devon Cup semi-final tie and that match will now be played on Saturday, February 23.
This coming Saturday (January 26), the side face a long away trip of their own to Amersham and Chiltern in Buckinghamshire, a side that has performed well at home this season and are sure to give the Cockles a run for their money.
