Exmouth United 7, Lympstone Lympets 3
Exmouth United Under-8s continued their unbeaten start to the season with victory over Lympstone Lympets in a high scoring derby game..
Following on from a 4-2 triumph over Brixington Blues, United raced into a three goal advantage with goals Joel Knot, Finley Clifford and Bryn Stephens.
However, Lympstone stood up did not let their heads go down, and came back into the game with two goals from some good inter-play.
A goal from Lewis Full put United into a 4-2 lead, but it was quickly 4-3 as Lympstone took advantage of a defensive error.
With both sides tiring in the heavy conditions the Exmouth lads put together some great moves to finish of the game with three further goals from Joel Knott, Carrick Howard and Caleb Field.
