East Budleigh head into Saturday’s game at Alphington Reserves looking to push their way further up the Fresha League One table.
The Jays sit eighth with 21 points after 15 games. They sit mid-table, ten points clear of the bottom three and eleven points short of the top three.
In the same section Exmouth Amateurs travel to Witheridge. Ammies sit ninth, but have played more than most and they have already lost ten of their league outings this term, five home and five away.
In Fresha Two Lympstone entertain South Zeal on Saturday and go into the game sitting fourth having played 13 games so far. It’s their splendid home form keeping them amongst the promotion chasing pack, the Lympets have won five of their six at home to date.
Woodbury are sixth in Fresha Three as they prepare for Saturday’s trip to third placed Hemyock. The Woods have already lost four of their six away games so far. They are currently eight points clear of third bottom Ottery St Mary and just seven shy of Hemyock who they can get close to with victory against them in Mid Devon.
Exmouth Town Reserves entertain Cheriton Fitzpaine at Southern Road in a Fresha Four game.
Town currently sit second to table-topping Axmouth United who hold a six point lead having played two more matches.
In Division Six things look very good for Otterton and they can add to their six point lead at the top of the table with a win at home to East Devon rivals Fluxton on Saturday.
The Otters have won all but two of their dozen league games so far this season.
