Who is playing where of our local sides on the final Saturday of February.
Exmouth will try again to bag a semi-final berth in the Graddon Vending Devon Premier Cup when they travel to South Devon side Upton Athletic. Last Saturday’s tie was called off after the home side had their goalposts vandalised.
In the South West Peninsula League, Eastern Division, Budleigh Salterton make the short trip into Exeter to meet Civil Service. When the sides met at Greenway Lane on October 12 the Robins landed a 5-2 win.
Budleigh Salterton Reserves are at Greenway Lane where they meet Topsham Town in a Fresha League, Premier Division game, when the sides met at Coronation Field earlier in the season the Tops won 2-0.
East Budleigh take their fight to avoid being one-season wonders in the top flight to title chasing Newtown.
Exmouth Amateurs entertain Exeter Civil Service looking for a twelfth straight Warrenview success. The table topping Ammies have kept no fewer than eight clean sheets in their eleven home games so far. A cautionary note though, when they played the Civil Servants up in Exeter back on October 15 the game ended 0-0.
Lympstone take their Division Three promotion mission to Sandford whilst Colaton Raleigh, who harbour stronger promotion credentials than the Lympets, are also on the road, they go to Upottery.
Exmouth Town Reserves travel to Hatherleigh Town’s second string for a game vital to Town’s Division Five promotion bid.
In Division Six East Budleigh Reserves host Westexe Rovers whilst Topsham Town Thirds have home advantage for the meeting with Chagford Reserves.
There are a couple of local derby matches in Division Eight with Otterton entertaining Woodbury Reserves whilst across at Colaton Raleigh there’s plenty of local interest with Woodbury pitching up for a meeting between the respective Club’s second string side’s.
